A museum of local interest in a former 19th-century town hall. The society also owns a handsome stone structure, the former Universalist Church (1844) which is used for meetings and special events. Collections are of farm tools, household utensils, costumes, weaving implements, textiles, photographs, and items used or made in Cavendish.
