The museum occupies a 7-room 1845 house with attached barn. Thematic exhibits are presented annually. Permanent, Grafton-based exhibits are of 18th- and 19th-century furniture, textiles, tools, fire-fighting equipment, paintings, prints, historic documents, Civil War memorabilia, soapstone objects, early inkwells, calligraphy, and alphabets. There are annual winter and summer programs.

Hours and Admission: Memorial Day to Columbus Day, Sat, Sun, and Holidays. Daily during foliage season, 10-12 AM and 2-4 PM. Suggested donation $3.00; Members and Children are free.
