The fine arts collection consists of 19th-century paintings and sculpture, as well as American and European antiques. There are monthly exhibits of local and regional artists, lectures, and workshops. Notable artwork: William Morris Hunt “The Prodigal Son,” Daniel Chester French “The Spirit of Life,” Larkin Mead “The Snow Angel.”
