Warren Village Historic District
This well-preserved mill village was founded in the 1820s to take advantage of the water power of the Mad River. Lining the main street, which winds along the river, are many 19th-century buildings. On high ground overlooking the rest of the village are churches, the town hall, the old district school, common, and cemetery. Many houses are Greek Revival in style. Upstream from the picturesque falls is the 1879 Warren Covered Bridge. |
