Pittsford Green Historic District

The district includes 33 civic, commercial, religious, and residential buildings surrounding the triangular village green. It’s focus is the outstanding 1835 brick Gothic Revival Congregational Church designed by architect John Cain. Development of the marble quarries, woolen mills, and the manufacture of iron stoves spurred the economic development of the town.
