The society’s library and collections are located in the Bicentennial Building on the common at Thetford Hill. The library contains about 4,000 volumes, 100 linear feet of manuscripts, photographs, portraits, and historic furniture. Other collections, housed in a barn and three smaller buildings on Route 113 just east of Thetford Hill, include tools, farm implements, vehicles, store and post office fittings, and local crafts.

Hours and Admission: The library is open Mondays and Thursdays, 2 – 4 p.m., and Tuesdays 10 a.m. to noon. The barn museum is open on Thursdays in August, 2 to 5 p.m.
