Located on the site of Fort St. Anne, Vermont’s oldest settlement, the site is also where the first known mass in Vermont was celebrated. It is claimed that Samuel de Champlain landed here in 1609. Collections from the 17th century to the present include arrowheads, tools, and dishes. There is a chapel, cafeteria, picnic grounds, and gift shop.
