Guildhall Village Historic District

The oldest community in the Northeast Kingdom, Guildhall was an early commercial and industrial center, as well as the county seat for Essex County. The village includes Greek Revival buildings around the green and a 1900 Georgian Revival public library and Masonic building that contains numerous stained-glass windows illustrating the degrees of the Masonic Order.
