This village was the historic, commerical, religious, and civic center of the town of Jericho and is focused on a historic green with mature trees. The 1836 First Congregational Church was remodeled in 1877, with outstanding stencilling and trompe l’oeil painting added inside. Jericho Academy once served over 100 pupils.
