| Héritage Winooski Mailing Address: Telephone: 802-985-2431 Contact Person: Laura Krawitt Héritage Winooski, sponsored by St. Michaels' College, is a cooperative effort of merchants, educators and historians to examine the industrial and cultural heritage of Winooski and Vermont during the 19th and 20th century mill era with programs and exhibits. Programs include teachers' workshops, evening gallery talks, school tours and internships. The Héritage Winooski Mill Museum opened in July 1998 as a work-in-progress exhibition of the Champlain Mill. Main topics are "Factories" and "Community." An illustrated collection of Museum-related essays as well as curriculum materials are slated for publication in late spring, 2000. Hours and Admission: Open Daily. Free.
